STISY Mystery Event

Start the year with a mystery bus ride to destinations unknown. Meet new people, eat amazing food, win great prizes and have fun!
Teens Tackle Homelessness Symposium and Tent City
Saturday, October 24, 2009 at 10:00am - Sunday, October 25, 2009 at 12:00pm
Travel with STISY to a teen conference where we will meet homeless friends, learn why individuals and families are homeless and what we can do to make a difference. We will also participate in a Tent City experience. The Tent City experience is a 24 hours period where we will experience what it is like to be homeless — if only for a short time. Midnight Run
Saturday, November 14, 2009 6:00pm-11:00pm
Each winter, STISY takes a group to New York City, supplied with warm winter clothing and food. We then distribute these essential, winter supplies to homeless friends. In the city, Bridges, an organization devoted to the care of the homeless, will join us on our bus and direct us along a safe and predetermined route through the city. We will not be walking the streets of NYC; the group will stay together at all times.

NFTY-GER REGIONAL EVENTS
NFTY-GER brings together Reform Jewish Teens from New Jersey and parts of New York, including Warwick, the home of our URJ Kutz Camp, National Leadership Center. Members come together at many times during the year for learning, fun, worship, community service, and fellowship to help young Jewish adults throughout the region build and strengthen lifetime ties with each other and Reform Judaism.
