DESCRIPTION:Organizing for Social Justice—Introductory Training for TSTI\n \nHow do we create change? How do we build a more just society? We organize! \nTSTI has teamed-up with the NJ branch of the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism’s to offer a unique and interactive class on community organizing and social justice. \nThis opportunity consists of one 90-minute session and one 60-minute session: \n● Session 1 – Wednesday\, September 29\, 7:00 – 8:30 pm\nSession 1 will provide the basis for why we organize as Jews\, and address key concepts of successful social justice organizing. \n● Session 2 – Tuesday\, October 5\, 7:00 – 8:00 pm\nSession 2 will focus on putting our learning into action\, focusing on RAC-NJ’s “2021 Double Your Voting Impact Civic Engagement Campaign.” Please plan to attend both\, as the second session will consist of practical application of information discussed in the first. \nTo register click HERE
