DESCRIPTION:The Gallery at TSTI presents \n\n\nStorytelling: A Jewish Spiritual Journey\nOpening Reception: Sunday\, November 2\, 2025\, 2:30pm – 4:30pm \nHow are traditional Jewish stories and themes expressed in contemporary art? \nThis fascinating question reflects our ongoing dialogue between how we experience our ancient heritage and our lives as modern Jews. In the works of Janet Boltax\, Beth Burstein\, Kay Faye Fialkoff\, Harriet Finck\, and Michal Nachmany\, traditional Jewish art forms and images are infused with vibrant colors and modern artistic techniques. They challenge the viewer to find new interpretations of the Jewish experience. \nFor some artists\, there is a discourse between the past and the present\, a visual conversation deeply connected to our collective memory\, identity and need for continuity. Their art is a bridge between the established Jewish narrative\, preserved in symbol and story\, and the artist’s personal experience.
