DESCRIPTION:TSTI’s Annual Turkey and Food Drive will be held on Sunday Nov. 21 from 8:30am – 12:00pm sharp on Gellis Plaza. We’ll be collecting frozen\, never-thawed turkeys\, as well as fully packed\, reusable bags of designated groceries. \nThese bags will be handed out directly to clients at the Thanksgiving Distribution by the Interfaith Food Pantry of the Oranges. Each bag should contain all the designated items below to ensure each client is treated with dignity and respect: \n\n2 boxes of stuffing\n1 can cranberry sauce\n1 two-pound bag of rice\n1 can of corn\n1 box instant mashed potatoes\n1 can of gravy (no glass)\n1 can evaporated milk\n1 large (40 oz) can sweet potatoes/yams\n\n

DESCRIPTION:Toulouse-Lautrec\, Suzanne Valadon and the Parisian Demi-Monde\, Part II\nFacilitator: Janet Cohen Mandel \nIn part II we will learn about his most important muse Suzanne Valadon\, a circus acrobat and artists’ model\, who gleaned what she could about painting by watching and listening to the men who put her image on canvas. But Toulouse-Lautrec was her earliest artistic influence. Under his tutelage she began to paint and created powerful\, unconventional images\, principally of women. Although mostly unknown today\, she is regarded by scholars as an important chronicler of women’s experiences.
