COME AS YOU ARE: A Sweet Start to the New Year – 5:30 pm (on the TSTI Lawn) ![]()
Join us for this intergenerational celebration of the new year, as we sing together with our wonderful High Holy Day band. Weather permitting, we’ll be outside, so dress casually. Bring a blanket or lawn chair, and the whole family.
TRADITION MEETS TODAY: Rosh Hashanah Reimagined – 7:30 pm (Bass Sanctuary Building)
A mix of traditional and contemporary songs, creative teachings from our rabbis and cantors, and the warmth of our TSTI community.

Gather with your TSTI community for a brief service of singing and reflection as we “cast away” the past year and begin anew. In this beautiful ritual, we throw small stones into the water to symbolize the cleansing of our spiritual “schmutz.”

At a time when we focus on forgiveness, join local experts for an engaging panel discussion on the impact of New Jersey’s criminal justice practices on vulnerable populations, how those impacted are never truly forgiven, and find out how you can advocate for change to make a difference.
