My grandmother taught me how to knit when I was 7 years old and have been knitting ever since. My husband says he has not bought
a store made sweater in over 45 years!
During the pandemic, especially when we were in lockdown, I started knitting for my grandchildren. Each one wanted a toss blanket
to cuddle up in when watching TV. Then we had a new grandchild who needed her own blanket and sweater. I then proceeded to
make two scarves, a vest for my husband, sweaters for the granddaughters, hats and actually a sweater for myself.
