Join us online for #ReproShabbat! This nationwide event, organized by National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW), celebrates the critical importance of reproductive health access, reproductive rights, and reproductive justice, and teaches about Judaism’s approach to these issues.
Reproductive freedom is a Jewish value.
Join us Friday, January 28 @ 6PM for our virtual Shabbat service, followed by guest speaker, Phoebe Pollinger, who serves on the Board of NCJW/Essex and is a co-chair of its Reproductive Rights Committee in addition to serving as NCJW’s NJ State Policy Advocate.
Phoebe has lobbied our state and federal legislators, written letters to the editor, and marched and picketed on behalf of women’s health legislation and reproductive rights for over 15 years. She is the recipient of NCJW/Essex’s Hannah G. Solomon Award for Service to the Community and NCJW National’s Social Change Tribute Award.
