The Heart Still Sings: Music of Grief and Hope Following October 7th

Loading Events

A senior recital by Shayna Burack in partial fulfillment of ordination requirements.

This recital weaves together contemporary Israeli and American Jewish music composed or revived in the wake of October 7. Through six emotional movements—lament, anger, yearning, reckoning, hope, and comfort—these songs give voice to communal grief and resilience. They invite listeners to feel deeply, hold complexity, and imagine healing.

Wednesday, October 22, 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.
