2026 High Holy Days: Canned Protein and Donations Needed
During the High Holy Days, TSTI invites our community to support the Interfaith Food Pantry of the Oranges (IFPO).
The most meaningful ways you can help during the High Holy Days are by:
- Bringing 5 oz. cans of tuna or chicken to the temple.
- Bringing $20 ShopRite gift cards to the temple.
- Making a donation directly to the IFPO: interfaithfoodpantryoftheoranges-bloom.kindful.com
The IFPO is a collaboration among four faith-based congregations in Essex County — TSTI, Beth El, Christ Church Short Hills, and B’nai Jeshurun — with the support of many other dedicated individuals and organizations. The IFPO provides supplemental and emergency food to food insecure residents of Orange, East Orange and West Orange on Wednesday mornings, except the first Wednesday of the month. They currently assist more than 650 households each distribution day.
