ANNUAL TURKEY & FOOD DRIVE – November 21, 2021
TSTI is once again collecting frozen, never-thawed turkeys, as well as fully packed, reusable bags of designated groceries.
These bags will be handed out directly to clients at the Thanksgiving Distribution by the Interfaith Food Pantry of the Oranges. Each bag should contain all the designated items below to ensure each client is treated with dignity and respect:
- 2 boxes of stuffing
- 1 can cranberry sauce
- 1 two-pound bag of rice
- 1 can of corn
- 1 box instant mashed potatoes
- 1 can of gravy (no glass)
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 1 large (40 oz) can sweet potatoes/yams

SECOND SATURDAY SOUP KITCHEN – December 11, 2021
We’re seeking TSTI congregants to provide (homemade or store-bought):
- 10 nutritious, complete meals (meat/main, a vegetable, and a starch),
- and 10 packs of 3 cookies apiece,
- and a 24-bottle case of water
Contactless container pick-up will be in Maplewood at the beginning of December. Volunteers will then deliver the meals, cookies & water to the Church of the Epiphany & Christ Church parking lot located at 105 Main Street in Orange, on the morning of December 11th, between 9:30am-10:30am. Church workers will be there to accept the deliveries in a contactless manner from your trunk (& they will distribute the meals).
